Describe your desk
My desk is my favorite place to be in my house. It represents what I am, since my hobbies are also my work. So I use it for design my arts, my digital drawings and to write books.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in a very nice wealthy town called Bilthoven, The Netherlands. Here it was where I was a happy kid and spend lots of my spare time in the woods, which were just right around the corner of our house. My parents both worked at the Newspaper, and my father inspired me to read and draw, since he was a Journalist and was very creative himself. My mother has been a balletdancer and played piano all her life. So creativity was given with the babyspoon as I grew up and it didn't feel very special, until I found special ways to express my creativity in writing 3D books for children, where all my skills that I've learned in life came together.
A 3D picturebook about a very special little dragon.
Lil Dragon Dax is feeling lonely and meets up with Raven, Goose and Seagull while having great adventures with them.
Meanwhile he tries to find himself some real friends.
Very unique is that all illustrations are made in Open Simulator Software.
