Billy Sharpe

My name is Billy Sharpe, and I'm from Wilson, NC. I have been writing for several years, and I hold memberships in RWA, Heart of Carolina Romance writers, and NC Writer's Network.
I have published with Smashwords, but the story was a mess, so I hit the button to erase. Not to worry, soon to be released is a tear jerker named, 'Call me Kid'. You'll like this. An alcoholic helps a dying girl while tracking a murderer.

Smashwords Interview

What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Good question! However, that all depends on the weather, time of year and possibly a family situation.
If the season is winter, I load my hunting dogs { Stella (a Brittany) and Molly (an English Setter)} whereupon we three head for the fields and woods. Stella is an excellent upland bird dog while Molly is fair, but what a beauty she is. Sad to say, if I were as good looking as she, I'd put some Hollywood actor out of work. Alas, I have the face of a Russian wild hog. On the other hand, you wouldn't have some excellent stories to read.
In the spring, I turkey hunt.
In the summer and fall, I garden on my farm with my Farmall 140.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Hunting, and gardening. During these endeavors, I dream about becoming a successful author. Usually, my best 'hunches' appear when I enjoy my hobbies.
