The Writers Three are B.C. Richards, Leonard Herrington, and Jon Flushing. Three college friends who after three decades of talking about writing stories have decided to finally do it. We hope to share our mutual love of the strange, the unusual, and the macabre with you out there in the even weirder world that we all live in.
Who are your favorite authors?
By far my most favorite author would have to be Tolkien. I love his work. It's just so amazing how he created such a massive universe. I'm always awed when I read his books. I think Frank Herbert's Dune books are really amazing as well. Edgar Rice Burroughs is fabulous. Michael Moorcock, George R.R. Martin, and Simon R. Green would be some others. I just really enjoy great science fiction/fantasy.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
When I get up and the sun is shining and I don't have too many aches and pains, then it's a good day for writing. Even if I get up and it's not sunny and I do have aches and pains, it's a good day for writing. Bottom line - the love of writing!
The dreams of Cerberus would have been nightmares. We believe nightmares only happen while we are asleep. The assumption is a faulty one. We share the world with witches and demons, killers and cannibals, and many other creatures that we don’t want to believe exist. Dreams of Cerberus is an anthology of ten short horror stories by authors Jon Flushing, B.C. Richards, and Leonard Herrington.

Despite these attempts, we realize that the dark truth is that it’s out there. It’s nervously whispered about. Tales of its denizens have been spoken of around fires since the earliest of times. These stories have been gathered and written into books
