My desk is the kitchen table I grew up with. It is a chrome linoleum table that is blue and green dots. I guess you could say it is retro now. It doesn't go with my decorating taste but I love it so incorporated it as my desk. I have a basket of papers to the left hand side and pens and papers to make notes and lists to the right.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I enjoy creating characters and placing them in situations and seeing what happens. I am always day dreaming - sometimes if I don't like the ending of a TV show or novel but do like the characters I'll change it in my head when I'm walking!! Who needs music when people are chasing you with swords!!
A shop owner (shop called Bliss) and her friends get involved (reluctantly) in murders when friends are scared. It is a cozy mystery series with a variety of characters with no police experience just good intentions that sometime get them in trouble.
A brief account of what I have learnt as a self-help junkie over the years. The chapters are short and I hope to the point. Quick take-away that I hope leads you to explore further and question where you want to go.
A Bliss Mystery: The Competition is the second in a series. Sydney literally stumbles over a body and is drawn into a murder investigation when her Aunt Fran becomes the lead suspect. The victim was opening a specialty shop similar to Bliss and Aunt Fran was seen arguing with her. The police are listening to lies and Sydney is determined to find out the truth.
What do you do when a friend ask you for a favor you are totally not qualified to help with? You get in over your head and bring along your best friend in the process. Not between friends is a cozy mystery about trying to unravel a secret and ending up unraveling more than you wanted. Sydney, shop owner of Bliss, gets caught up in a murder of a man she just met, who is not who he appears to do.
