Bret Lambert

Believe it or not, but I was born in the jungles of south Sumatra, Indonesia. I spent my youth there, and Tripoli, Libya, and Singapore, and traveled quite a bit with my family to other parts of the world.
After attending college in Northern California, in a town called Weed, I joined the U.S. Air Force and spent the next ten years ten months and four days (but who's counting) in Germany, North Dakota, Turkey, and Washington state (in that order).
After proudly serving my country, I went to work in the crime lab of a west Texas police department. Yes! The whole CSI thing! It was a fantastic job, made more so by the fantastic people with whom I worked.
After a bit more than a decade there I came to settle in Southern California where I work for a great company in the energy field.
When not at work, I am a devoted husband and father to a wonderful family, and I do my writing at the kitchen table.
Life is good and I owe it all to our loving Lord and Savior.

Smashwords Interview

What do you read for pleasure?
Right now it's murder mysteries, but depending on my mood it could be sci-fi, westerns, historical dramas. The list goes on!
What is your e-reading device of choice?
Actually, I'm something of an anachronistic curmudgeon in that I prefer books. You know, front and back covers, paper pages in between, pictures optional.
