Smashwords Interview

What are your five favorite books, and why?
Tough Question lets see.....
#1 The Stand by Stephen King- The why would be that it is such an amazingly compelling story that really crosses genres. It starts as a standard post apocalyptic thriller but rapidly evolves into an stellar fantasy with a battle of good and evil.
#2 Gates of Fire by Steven Pressfield- I'm a history buff and one that studies warfare so the topic of course intrigued me but once into it this historical function does such an amazing job of getting you to care deeply for the characters you feel as if your there.
#3 Living the Martial Way by Forrest E. Morgan- A great westernization of Eastern Martial understandings.
#4 Altered Carbon by Richard K. Morgan- the best cyber punk futuristic novel not done in space Ive read this book 5 or 6 times
#5 Going Home by A. American- A book that changes the way I think.... it scared the shit pout of me.
What do you read for pleasure?
