B Jane Lloyd

How exciting to find your calling just when life is supposed to be winding down! B. Jane Lloyd retired from a full-time job in order to pursue the passion for writing discovered in her mid-30's. This was a surprise romance. She detested composition classes in school.

Lloyd started with a personal poetry business, creating poems for special occasions tailored to each individual recipient. Freelance writing followed. Penning books came easy...the characters often narrated their stories while she transcribed. And the inspiration keeps coming...Lloyd's poems, articles, and stories have been published in various periodicals. ESSENCE, I of LIGHT Empowerment Cards released in May 2018.

Lloyd lives with her husband/best friend in the U.S. Their children, grand/great-grandchildren and grand-dogs live nearby. A large, extended family and zany friends provide stability and delight. You'll find many of them reflected in her books.

Life has not always been a piece of cake. There have been major losses: a precious baby, treasured family and friends, much-loved pets, a marriage. Various challenges broke and reshaped Lloyd.

Have you ever had a goal in sight when something suddenly shifted and you found yourself back at square one? You realize it's time to change direction or start over. Each challenge brings blessings, although we may not be able to see them at the time.

Change keeps us young. We are never arriving --- always becoming. The challenge is to keep on keeping on---onward and upward. It's a wonderful life. Enjoy!
