Bright Isani was born at the river-line community(Ogurugu) in Uzo-uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State,Nigeria in September,1984 to the family of Dr. Edwin Chizoba Isani and Mrs.Oyinwa Maccilina Isani. The father was a lecturer at the University of Calabar, Nigeria and the Mother a successful business woman of higher repute.He is the fourth child and the third son of family of eight.
This Igala-Enugu born man attended Community Primary School, Ogurugu in Uzo-uwani Local Government Area between 1992 to 1997 and Avrugo District Secondary School, Kogi State between 1997 to 2003. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in English and Literary Studies from Kogi State University, Anyigba in 2009 and Master of Arts in English and Literary Studies from the Prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 2014. And obtained his Postgraduate Diploma in Education from National Teachers Institute, Kadunna an affiliate of National Open University of Nigeria in 2014.
He was a senior English and Literature teacher at the Special Science School, Nsukka between 2012 to 2013, Technical College, Igga between 2013 to 2016 and Technical College, Nsukka between 2016 to July, 2017. He was also a Assistant Content Editor of Corona Schools, Council, Ikoyi-Lagos during his one year compulsory National Youth Service and a Labour Party Secretary Ogurugu Ward between 2010 to 2015. He is a part-time Lecturer at the College of Education, Nsukka and Currently a member of staff of University of Nigeria, Nsukka from July 2017 to date. He is presently a student of African Peace and Conflict Resolution at the Institute of African Studies, University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
He is the author of the play: the Teacher Died approved by Enugu State Ministry of Education for Junior Secondary School II in Literature Series from 2018 to 2021 and other unpublished texts.He is married to Cordelia Chioma with two Children- Sommachi and Tchizara.
