A little bit about me:-
I was born in 1940 in Dublin, Ireland.
Raised and educated, from 1947 in the UK, initially in Birmingham.
Met and married my wife, Hazel, in 1962.
We have three children, all grown up, Steven, Joanne who has a daughter, Keri-Rose, and Peter.
The boys live in Sydney with their partners, Theressa (Steve), who is Samoan and Giovanna (Peter), who is Brazilian. Family reunions, although rare are very lively!
Jo and husband Keiran and daughter Keri-Rose live in a neighbouring suburb to Hazel and I, in Perth’s North.
Our lives are shared with two small dogs, Teddy, who you have already met and Billy, the elder statesman canine.
My career has focused on Petroleum Marketing both here and in the UK, where I worked for Shell. Migrating here in 1983, I took up a position with BP before a stint as a self-employed Franchisee at a Perth Service Station. (Not a recommended career move).
I now work as part of the support staff to two Judges at the West Australian Supreme Court. (Highly recommended career move).
Outside of work, I have two main interests, golf, which I play regularly, as I have done for fifty years, without ever once showing any sign of improvement, and, English Premier League Football. I have followed West Bromwich Albion all my life which has led to some very sad moments, and an almost solitary existence as a WA based fan.
