What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
One of the greatest joys of writing to me, is thinking up these fantastic characters who populate my stories. These characters would never exist in the real world - or would they? I don't know. What I know is that I don't know people like the characters in my stories. They are completely made up. To work out such a character is one of the great joys of writing. I actually use a program to create my characters. This program is called Character Writer and is very good. Once the character is on black and white, the real magic actually starts. The character changes into a living being, with its own thoughts and actions. I really don't know how this happens - maybe its just the magic of writing. So once the characters are there, the story is easy. The characters know exactly what to do and I just write their actions and thoughts down and, walla - there's the story...
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
These days it is to write. I was always writing, since high school. But since I discovered Self Publishing and especially Smashwords, I get up early in the morning and start writing. I sometimes write until late at night. And funny thing is I feel energised all the time. Maybe this is what the clever people meant when they said: Do what you love...
