It's an incredibly good book. It has action, adventure, magic and destruction in abundance but what really catches your attention and forces you to keep on reading it is the humour. There are so many surprises throughout the novel that by the end of it you think what now. There could not possibly be any more surprises then WHA BANG! The most surprising of all thing happens. I love the fact that Good is like a spoiled bratty kid and Evil is like a exasperated grandfather that can not understand where he went wrong. I love the fact that the lines between good and evil are blurred or in many cases non-existent. From the start to the end it's riveting and unlike any other novel I have ever read.
It had Potential but i was let down. Everything was so neat and tidy it made the story line boring. Nothing really happened in the story and the main character litteraly had everything given to him. From his magic which apparently anybody can get to the dragon who somehow knew he was a good guy to the princess who fell in love with him in less than 24 hours to even the and the king who didnt blink about a commoner marrying his daughter but made him nobility. His son chose him, the wizard chose him, the dragon chose him, the princess chose him its ridiculous. The only villain was defeated in 2 pages. The king would let his only heir live in a shack somewhere in the woods because apparently princesses are into that now. The one word that perfectly describes this book is pink. Not only that the price of this book is highway robbery. I will never read this authors books again.
