After quitting the newspaper and opting to live a life of fast money, he ended up in federal prison for a 4 year stint. It was in prison 6 years after he wrote his last newspaper article where he re-connected with the pen and wrote his first urban novel, Bankroll Squad. The 27 year old will be released from Oakdale federal prison in 2011 and has many more novels prepared to be released to the public
