Barbara Alfaro is a graduate of Goddard College and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. A recipient of a Maryland State Arts Council Individual Artist Award, Barbara is the author of an ebook edition of poetry called First Kiss. She has also published a collection of humorous short stories titled Irresistible Impulse and Other Short Stories and a collection of 10-minute plays called Stagestruck & Other Short Plays. Mirror Talk, her memoir about a Catholic girlhood and working in theatre won the IndieReader Discovery Award for Best Memoir.
