Barbara L. Warren
Barbara L. Warren is a writer, photographer, and educator living in Arizona. After her husband Bill died, she designed and taught classes ranging from journaling to writing memories at RV resorts. A Massachusetts native, Barbara moved to Arizona to follow her dream. After enjoying her work as women's editor of the Prescott Courier, Barbara teamed with fourth-generation Arizonan Karen Perkins to create "Prescott Means..." This personal journal about the Territorial Capital of Arizona features Karen's pen-and-ink drawings. Barbara expected to learn photography by osmosis when she married Bill, an award-winning photojournalist, but she had to sign up for his community college classes to master the craft. She expanded a darkroom assignment into "Capture Creativity: Photographs To Inspire Young Writers." The boxed kit included 75 black-and-white photographs along with an instruction guide for teaching writing to gifted and talented students in grades K-12. Barbara is now working on her upcoming book, "Writing Your Life's Stories."
