Mary Beasley is a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor, Certified Christian Therapist, published author and motivational speaker. She is an accomplished and energetic facilitator/trainer with a solid history of achievement in the Federal Government. Mary brings passion, excitement, and enthusiasm to her writings and presentations that inspire and encourage. Her love for writing began in her youth as she penned short stories for her girlfriends in school. As a mother of six, she would create bedtime stories for her children who requested "stories out of your head." Her passion is to create characters with real life issues who love God and with whom people can identify with and be encouraged. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with her husband, Lewis, her best friend. She and her husband make their home in Maryland.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Right now, I still have a full-time position with Federal Government. Outside of my full-time position, when I am not writing, I provide counseling and facilitation services. I love speaking, coaching and mentoring. And reading!
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes I do, it was a short story for my little sister who wanted to be a policewoman. I can remember, discussing the character with her and what type of awesome guy she would meet and fall in love with.
Resting Place ~ Phoenix
Can love last a lifetime? Sidney Weston repeatedly asked this question as she tried desperately for ten years to forget J.P. Carter. She was forced to leave home because she dared to cross cultural lines with J.P. She was told she was not good enough. She returns home, only to discover her feelings for J.P. hadn't diminished. Will she find her answer in Resting Place?
