Smashwords book reviews by Benjamin Broke

  • Warp Factor 10: Travel Faster than Light on Nov. 25, 2014

I love this! I'm not qualified to comment on the scientific validity of the ideas, but it seems entirely plausible that physical reality has a resonant frequency. Even if it's wrong, it's still a cool idea and this author is some kind of visionary. This was a fun read!
  • Drafted Into Darkness on Dec. 31, 2014

This was fun to read, it reminded me of dark heavy metal, like early Sabbath. I like the idea of someone's anger being strong enough to cause a disruption on the astral plane, and the descriptions of how Zaharo works his magick are scary in their specificity.
  • Seedling: A Short Story on Jan. 02, 2015

I'm glad I read this story. It is a real-feeling depiction of super powers, which seems like it would be tough to pull off! It's done really well here.
