Beth Nash

I hope by telling my story I might be helping other people who have had similar types of experiences I also hope to let people know that anybodies life can change in a heartbeat. I may have not have chosen this life - but I am still here.

Smashwords Interview

When did you first start writing?
I first started to write after I sustained a hemorrhagic stroke. I actually didn't start working on my essay in earnest until 9 years into my recovery. This essay talks about all the aspects that I went through - from not talking (I was silent for the first 5 months) to all the surgeries that I went through and all the different therapies I got involved in. These therapies included physical, occupational, and speech. I have gone to a psychologist and a psychiatrist for the past 3 and a half years.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I felt that my words might affect any person who has had similar experiences.
