This a really enjoyable read, I strongly recommend having a read of this if you enjoyed her Cin Craven book series. This short read gives you more insight into Cin Cravens world and the mysterious Morrigan who keeps popping up every now and then in the series. You also underrstand more about the King and how vampires came to be. As always with Maclaine, this is a wonderfully written piece that sucks you in from the start.

Having read the Cin Craven book series I can say that this short story really gives you a chance to understand this couple better and I found that I actually liked the characters more, whereas before I wasn't really much for them. I'd definatley recommend having a read if you enjoy the Cin Craven series.
