Although you need to know Second Life to truely understand the nuances of this story, it can be read 'cold' for the story itself. In any case, the book captures the good, the bad, and the ugly of Second Life ... the frustrations of a 'noob' (new Second Life user), and the attractions of a virtual world, all wrapped up in the detective story itself.
