Over the span of a 25-year career in professional baseball and hockey, Billy Johnson has emerged as one of professional sports' most fertile promotional and marketing minds. His often off-beat writing has been featured in various forms. He is currently President and COO of the Las Vegas Wranglers professional hockey team.

He is a native of Louisville, Kentucky, and a graduate of the University of Kentucky. He and his wife, Erica, reside in Las Vegas, Nevada. "If I Die Tell Steve Martin I Found His Journal" is his first novel.
