Smashwords book reviews by Stephen Galperin

  • The Children of Cheiron on Jan. 02, 2013

I enjoyed this book. I found the characters to be well developed and believable. The plot was good and had sufficient depth and hidden history to keep me reading. This appears to be the first book of a series, and I'm looking forward to next installment.
  • The Twisted Breath of God on April 30, 2013

Good story. Well written and thought provoking. I'll have to read some of the author's other work.
  • Jet Black - Marooned on the Ice Planet #2 on May 11, 2013

I'm really enjoying these Jet Black stories. They are funny, and full of action. I hope he keeps writing them. I recommend reading the others too.
  • The Grid on June 18, 2013

Very good. Compelling story line, believable characters and a frightening situation. I will be reading the next book in the series.
  • Ghostwalker (The Chronicles of Zanthora: Book One) on June 21, 2013

Great story, I couldn't put it down. His writing gives hints a much larger back story or farther story to be told. Excellent action, the party runs from one danger to next.
  • The Silver Collar on June 24, 2013

Not your usual ending for a werewolf story. Fun. Read it.
  • Sheila’s Planet on Aug. 15, 2013

I hung it up after 90 pages. For a book that was categorized under erotica, it wasn't particularly erotic. It read more like a dissertation on the evils of males.
  • A Ride Home on Aug. 19, 2013

    Well written, smoking hot.
  • That Which Devours (Tales of the Cree Medicine Man) on Aug. 22, 2013

Great story. Lots of action, blood and an unkillable monster.
  • The Game on Aug. 26, 2013

I couldn't put it down. I really liked the way he tied it to Earth's history.
  • Beast Beyond the Gate on Aug. 30, 2013

    Delightfully twisted. Very hot.
  • Undermeat on Sep. 10, 2013

A wild ride though a Lovecraftian tail where another, much more sinister world exists just outside our vision. I couldn't put it down.
  • Lady in the Room on Sep. 17, 2013

A well written, compelling story. Great ending. Worth a read.
