Smashwords Interview

What is your writing process?
I like to picture how each character would react in every situation and not necessarily how I would want them to react. I steer them in the direction I want but they seem to take over. As long as they reach the same conclusion I want, I let let them run free.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Lafayette, LA. My dad had a great sense of humor, which is where I'd like to think I inherited it. My childhood friends and I relied on an active imaginations and it kept us entertained for hours at a time. Humor and imagination are the key ingredients in my writing.
