It is the mission of Blue Blood to bring independent intelligent adults more edgy sexy pop culture candy. We started publishing the antisocial punk humor journal BLT: Black Leather Times in 1990. The Blue Blood brand was introduced in 1992, along with glossier production values. Our first online presence was in 1994 and the first serious online incarnations were in 1997. Then came Gothic.net and a cavalcade of other entertainment properties. Although Blue Blood CBLT packages content for a variety of companies, across transmedia platforms encompassing web sites, magazines, and books, these branded products are near and dear to our hearts. Born in the zine explosion of the 1990's, forged in the trenches of the dot com boom and bust, Blue Blood is here to entertain, promote, and inform the counterculture.
