Very descriptive writing, author is good with words! This fantasy story reminds one of the J. R. R. Tolkien series. The story moves well, maintains interest by moving back and forth between story lines of different characters. However it seemed too short, and I had the feeling that it shouldn't have ended there, that we just got nicely started. Guess that's why there will be sequel! I look forward to it!
