Steven Mooney


Steven Mooney worked blue-collar jobs for a decade before he studied poetry at Naropa Institute. He continued at unskilled labor another fifteen years while he studied the theory and practice of soup kitchens and the dialectic of vagrancy until he earned a B. A. in English at the age of forty-three and an M. Ed. two years later. He is the author of In Cellophane of Time: Poems 1973-1987.
