Brad Dixon

Brad Dixon grew up in colonial Williamsburg, Virginia.
During his time with the U.S. Army he was stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas where he first learned about real western culture. He began to research the real old west, taking many long trips on horseback into uninhabited areas to enjoy the open spaces that remained unchanged for two hundred years.
‘Farin West’ his first novel, is meticulously researched and is as historically accurate as possible with the characters and story line being the only fictional part of the books. The weapons, towns, outfits, trails and landmarks are all authentic for the period.
