Two-time EMMY© Award nominee MICHAEL BRAVERMAN is a television writing veteran with over 250 hours of produced primetime dramas and comedies. He was the creator and Executive Producer of the EMMY© winning breakthrough ABC television series, “Life Goes On”. Michael is a noted Showrunner, Executive Producer, writer and director and has been instrumental in guiding such efforts as Chicago Hope, Beverly Hills 90210, Higher Ground, Quincy, and numerous television movies, including M.A.D.D. – Mothers Against Drunk Driving. He was nominated twice for the prestigious Writers Guild of America Writers Award as well as the Humanitas Prize, The Peoples Choice Award and over thirty-five other distinguished professional awards and commendations. Early in his career he had the privilege of working with such luminaries as Orson Wells and Jack Klugman. Michael is a proud member of the Writers Guild of America, the Directors Guild of America, the Writers Guild of Canada, and ASCAP. He has taught television writing at the extensions of UCLA and UC Santa Cruz and currently teaches screenwriting, directing, producing and acting for camera at Academy of Art University, San Francisco. He is also in the process of completing his second novel.
