As a kid, I tortured my 8 siblings with my writing and directing of annual family plays. Starting with a pad of paper, then moving to a plastic orange Smith Corona typewriter, and now to my trusty laptop, I have always enjoyed the puzzle of finding the right word, phrase or plot twist. So far, my published works are both non-fiction and fiction. I have published two books and numerous articles, short stories, manuals and editorials in the legal, travel, science fiction, and mystery genres. I also contribute small business educational content to Nolo.com and blog articles about local events and business profiles at GoLoJax.com. Please feel free to check out my web page at www.bridgesdelponte.com.
My legal mystery, Deadly Sacrifices, set in my Boston hometown, won a 2012 Royal Palm Literary Award (unpublished - mystery)from the Florida Writers Association. My underwater fantasy novel, Bridles of Poseidon, was selected as a finalist in unpublished fantasy in 2012, too. I live in Orlando and teach in Jacksonville--but would love to earn my keep someday as a full-time author. Thanks for taking a peek at my author page. I look forward to hearing you.
