  • LilyPad Princess on July 13, 2011

I received this book through LibraryThings member reveiw program and very much enjoyed reading the story. The story is a twist on the classic fairy tale "The Frog Prince". There is a set of twins, a prince and a princess. The princess finds a frog with a crown the pond, and decides to kiss the frog to get her prince charming. What happens after the kiss is a tale of of what happens when we don't realize the effect our actions have on others. I really enjoyed reading about the main characters and how responsible they were in trying to solve the problems that were occuring at the palace and how redaly a person was excepted even for being different. I would recommend this book for elementary readers and up.
  • Warleader - A Blood and Tears Short Story on Nov. 30, 2011

The story is about Tabin and how he wants to be warleader of his people and the difference obsticles he must face to reach that position. The one thing he doesn't take into account is what lenght the other candiates will go to win. The story is very descriptive and grabs you attention from the first, giving you a teaser and hungry to read the future books in the Blood and Tears World.
  • Mixing It Up (A Galaxy Girls Novella) on Dec. 09, 2011

The story and characters were well written and very enjoyable. I was a little disappointed in the romance part as Eli and Ki didn't even talk to each other once in the whole book. Other than that the story moves at a fast past and is fun to ready.
  • Darkest Desire: The Wolf's Own Tale on March 02, 2012

Darkest Desires: The Wolf's Own Tale is the story of a Wolf who loves children and his enccounter with the Brothers Grimm. During the time spent with the Brothers Grimm the Wolf confesses to having an unnatrual desire of eating children, to this the Brothers Grimm convince the Wolf that they can cure him. I really enjoyed reading this book and getting a different idea on who the Brothers Grimm could actually be. The characters are well written and very believable in their thoughts and actions. I enjoyed learning the Wolf's perspective on how the fairy tales were possibly conceived.

  • Everything You Need on March 16, 2012

This was a fun read about two people from very different backgrounds (one is an only child the other is the youngest of a large family) who need to learn a little about give and take to get their happy ending.
  • Dangerous Barter: A Novella on April 02, 2012

Michael and Laura are in the process of getting a divorce. The lengths the two go to get what they want is a little disturbing. This was interesting and entertaining.
  • Caged View (An Urban Fantasy Collection of Short Stories) (Habitat .5 Series) on May 06, 2012

A great introduction into the world of the Santeria Habitat and those that live, work, and do what they can to survivie and make their world better.
  • Literary Heroin (Gluttony): A Twilight Parody on June 12, 2012

A very interesting look at what it takes to make a best selling novel and have it turned into a movie. This was a very good read to give you ideas and help form your opinions on what is valid entertainment and what is just there to make a dollar. I am looking forward to reading additional bossks from this author.
  • Incubus Hunter on Jan. 31, 2013

Carmen is an incubus hunter for a sorcer. On Carmen's last assignment she finds that the incubi she is sent after, Blaze, ends up being more than she can handle. The book switches the between the point of view of Carmen and Blaze the sex scenes between the two are very steamy and exciting to read. I have ready other novels by Kenya Wright and I really enjoy her writing style. I can't wait to read more of what she has to offer.
