Biography

I make my home in the beautiful state of Colorado backed up against the Rocky Mountains. I live with my husband Anthony, and my rescue Blue Front Amazon parrot, Riley. I enjoy traveling, writing, painting, fitness, nature, visiting with friends, curling up with a good book, and the awesomeness of every day.
Each new day is a blessing to be treasured!

One of the greatest joys of writing is losing myself in the story—I may begin the story, but soon it is writing itself—sometimes taking me on a totally different journey than originally imagined. I find myself on a magical ride to new places, or reliving and reinventing places I've visited.

I hope you enjoy my stories and please feel free to connect with me. I love to hear from my readers and fans. I feel very lucky to have connected with and made so many friends in this very special world we live.

Through social media, especially my Twitter Tribe and Writers Community, I am blessed with a multitude of caring and wonderful friends who support me in so many ways—you are awesome!

It is with heartfelt gratitude that I thank my readers and fans around the world. I feel extremely honored to be a part of your reading list.

Good book with a well thought out story line. Cryptography was a really cool way to make Tikaya unique. She was a fun character who was strong yet vulnerable at the same time. Great combination. It was a bit predictable throughout it - but maybe that is just me as I'm always trying to figure out plots as I read. :-) It is a rather long book and the last third I had to kind of drag myself through and had it pretty much figured out before the ending. I enjoyed Ms. Buroker's style of writing.

This was a good read, despite a number of typos throughout the book. Liked the dark spirit theme and the handsome stranger, Nathan, who is destined to be a part of Paige's life. Paige has had a rather 'interesting' life up to this point - her father died when she was quite young and her mother is a mostly absentee mother. Paige has had to figure out a lot of her life on her own. Enjoyed the supernatural themes woven into the story to add complexity and a twist on the 'normal'. I will search out additional books in this series.
