C.R.Mucklow was born in the heart of England in 1991.
Known as Chad to his family, friends and enemies. He is a prolific writer who has a passion for spinning fantastical tales that grab his readers by the balls (or equivalent) and refuse let go even after the final word has been absorbed.
Finally setting forth on the journey to becoming a recognized published author, he has begun publication of his long-gestating serial: Isoria.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
At first I was very much against being an indie author. I didn't think it was possible to be taken seriously, or to be a real success without a big publishing house at one's back.
That all changed early this year when I began researching the world of indie publishing and learned that a great many popular and respected authors have found success by going it alone.
The most attractive thing to me about being an indie is the fact that I don't have to win the virtual lottery of submitting work to literary agents and then have them submit it to a big publisher.
This way my work is GUARANTEED to be published when I want and how I want and I'm given the creative control to oversee every little detail of my budding little enterprise.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
That moment of perfect absorption in the work.
I absolutely adore it when my brain is working so frantically and so naturally that my hands seem to move over the keyboard almost of their own accord.
Hours can go by like this and at the end you've not just written down words, you've crafted a story.
