Carla Danziger, a native of the Pacific Northwest, is a descendant of Norwegian and Finnish-Swedish grandparents. Her close ties with her Norwegian relatives and travel to Norway as well as living in Israel inspired her to write HIDDEN FALLS. She has worked as a writer/editor and freelance journalist; is a past president (2004-2006) of the Washington, DC, chapter of the Women’s National Book Association--a membership organization of publishing professionals (, and is a member of Sons of Norway (SON) Washington Lodge.
