Caroline Cowan has spent most of her adult life writing for the other side as an advertising copywriter. She also gets to exercise her perfectionist tendencies doing work as an editor. As with many writers, she is interested in many things but the main interests that take up her day are meditation and yoga, teaching university kids how to breathe to deal with life’s ups and downs, getting people interested in giving back through volunteering, climbing mountains and swimming before 7am.
Having found herself single in her 30s after the end of a long term relationship that shouldn’t have gone on for so long, she has embraced the single life, sometimes wholeheartedly, sometimes reluctantly. She had learnt a great deal about what it means to do things for yourself and how empowering it is to create the life you want beyond the labels society wants to put on it. She hopes to help other singles and people struggling with relationships to find a way to make life a celebration, no matter what form it takes.
Caroline lives in Cape Town, South Africa.
