What motivated you to become an indie author?
Well, I always wanted to be a writer, but I just wasn't sure if I was good enough. My first book, published by a vanity press, won an award, which encouraged me to continue writing. Everyone who read "Perfect," my first book, loved it, but apparently getting an agent to represent me was something close to impossible. People who read my books encouraged me to self-publish, and when I discovered how easy it was to self-publish, I gladly adopted the title, "Indy Author."
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The greatest joy? Seeing my book in print, of course. Just like a mother who carries a child for nine months, puts up with the difficulties of pregnancy, the end result is something to show off, shout it out, and yes, send out announcements of the new baby. (or book).
