Casey L. Nash published her first novel, What Lay in the Dark in 2012 at the age of seventeen. Since then she has released the sequel and completed a university degree in Popular Music.
Now working as a music teacher, Nash divides her time between planning and writing novels, teaching students to sing and play music and binge-watching Netflix with her dog.
Casey is currently working on several novels, the first of which she intends to release sometime in 2018.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
I have an alarm clock that does a pretty good job of making me get up... If that fails, my dog can and will jump on me and lick me to death... To be perfectly honest, staying in bed all day would probably bore me. I like life.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Well, if I'm not writing I could be researching for more writing or inspiring myself to write. Music takes up a lot of my life, and I spend a spare bit of time writing, learning and playing various types of music on various instruments. I'm also pretty keen to give University a go, and I do actually have a real job as well (cue sigh.)
