Cassandra Shanahan grew up in a house with six brothers. She learned to make up stories and have imaginary adventures from a young age. It wasn’t until the birth of her first child in 2010 that her interest in Children’s Literature grew. She has since started a Writing and Children’s literature degree at Edith Cowan University in the hopes to one day create books with diverse characters for children of all ages.
