When did you first start writing?
I started writing at the age of 11 years old. Back in those days, there were no internet and mostly people rely on newspapers and television for information. So you have to research more intensively to learn about what you are writing. But now, even a seven year old kid have access to the internet which is a very vast resource of knowledge.
What's the story behind your latest book?
My latest Book " Jose Rizal and The Lost City of The Lizard People" is about a struggling writer who didn't had any opportunity particularly with writing. Then he stumbled upon the internet to look for a job and suddenly his name came up. But to his amazement it wasn't him -- but some national hero from the Far East.
Jose felt a connection with this national hero and so he made a commitment to learn more about the person. Until he went to the Far East where the national hero was born. And the rest is history . . . .
A team of researchers work to map aquatic life around the Marianas Trench, home to the deepest points in the ocean. They went out onto the water looking for how the geographical formations below the surface affect the life in the deep. What they found was something that would change their lives forever. Gripping, suspenseful and full of underwater adventure that captures legends and folklores.
A penniless writer. A national hero. An old chap and a charming lady. Together, it's the ultimate battle between good versus evil. Suspenseful, romantic, historical, funny, Jose Rizal and The Lost City of The Lizard People captures the enchantment of the native culture and the power of friendship.
