Charlie Steel

Charlie Steel, author of WEST OF THE BIG RIVER: THE FORTY-NINERS, and DESERT HEAT, DESERT COLD AND OTHER TALES OF THE WEST, as well as other western novels, is an internationally published writer of westerns and many short stories. He is a member of Western Writers of America, Western Fictioneers, and the Zane Grey’s West Society. Steel holds five academic degrees including a Ph.D. Charlie Steel lives on an isolated ranch at the base of Greenhorn Mountain, in Southern Colorado.
