Dam' good start to something awesome. The story line and milieu are interesting without being cliche'. I am very interested to see how Malice and Stout - and Hari - develop!

Tales of the MERC Part Two: A Deadly Introduction

The installments are not coming fast enough. In the second installment of the series, we find out more about Malice and Stout. Under the guise of Malice getting to know her son's intended, she tells of her own unorthodox courtship with Stout. It is a perfect venue for learning much of the background history of the land and (hopefully!) foreshadows what Hari will be facing in the future.

Tales of the MERC Part Three: My name is Alys

A complex, layered fantasy novella with real bad guys, real good guys, and real "inbetweeners" - none of whom are stereotypes. It fits in well with the first two. I am eagerly awaiting more.
