Cher Duncombe

Biography

As a former Investigator of Fraud for the Pennsylvania Office of Inspector General, I received several awards for my investigations. Upon retiring from the PA OIG, I opened my own Private Investigations firm. The stories I have written are fiction, but they are based in part on my experiences as an Investigator. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in teaching English and Speech on a high school level. I was a teacher and a social worker prior to entering investigative work, which I thoroughly enjoyed. It is all about the threads of investigations and how they unravel that make that career a dynamic one.

Having been a life-long resident of Pittsburgh, PA, I now happily reside with my husband, Richard, in Florida.
