I'm a 44 year old mother of 3, with 3 grandchildren. I live in a small town in North Central Pennsylvania, my oldest daughter and her family live with me and my husband, and add so much to my life; I'm thankful for having them in it everyday. My passion is writing, and spending time with my family. I've hand written many novels, and poems, but have never put anything to publish, until now that is.
How do you approach cover design?
As I'm writing I loose myself so to speak, and picture things that pertain to the story and try to graphically place the best image that describes the book. The saying "You can't judge a book by its cover" that's not what I go for, I want to capture my readers by its cover.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
The first story I ever read was "Where the Wild things are" when I was very young, I was so captivated by the story it sparked something inside me. I have a very over active imagination and wanted to start writing my own stories.
