For Chris Carlisle, drawing has always been a part of her life, and she wrote illustrated stories for her children when they were young, some of which are available from Author Way Ltd. During a 4 year stint as an 'expat' she was commissioned to produce illustrations for a British Airways in-flight children's activity booklet, and on her return to UK she qualified with distinction in Graphic Design. Chris is available for book cover design at very reasonable prices.
Chris is of a 'certain age' and lives with her husband in Cheshire.

review comment - "A charming story with endearing hand-drawn illustrations"
Teddy and his family are living on the other side of the world, and they come back to visit friends and relations. They are all on their way home, when 'disaster' strikes.......
This rhymed story, with its bright and lovingly observed illustrations, is based on a true incident that happened to the Author when returning from 'expat' home leave.
Teddy competes in the Bearcelona Olympic Games ! Specially writen and illustrated to help younger children understand the Olympics, whilst also subtly reinforcing messages of fair play and losing gracefully; even very young ones will enjoy the brightly coloured images
Cat lovers everywhere will recognise their own feline friend's behaviour in the well-observed illustrations throughout the book. The wonderful relationship between the Author's daughter and her pet cat was the inspiration for this charming story, which will appeal to both young and old.
