I was brought up a Catholic and although no one ever laid a hand on me, I was nevertheless attracted to the thrill of vengenace that the title suggested. The first chapter gave me everything I needed from that point of view, but then I couldn't put the book down, even despite the explicit violence and sex. Wow. It delivers on all fronts.
