Biography

I am an avid reader of fiction. Usually sci-fi and fantasy novels although I like to delve into horror sometimes when my mood takes me there.
I live in the north of England and have just retired early after a wonderful windfall which allows me to do as I please these days.
I'm looking forward to reading as much as I can after discovering this site.

This is the first story I've read since joining Smashwords today. Didn't I pick a winner! Great little story and I see it's an extract from a larger work. The author now has me hooked into reading the whole series. Well done!
  • Ruck Nor on Aug. 25, 2015

This is a good little introduction to Craig West. Looking forward to reading the second in this mini series.
  • Ruck Nor 2 on Aug. 25, 2015

Just found out they are called flash fiction. This story is becoming very interesting. I love the story so far and it seems this guy is in for a hell of a time. I like the way it's written, easy to follow and absorb. Looking forward to the next.
  • Ruck Nor 3 on Aug. 25, 2015

I though poor Craig would be used for experiments or something in part two but I'm glad they've welcomed them into their society. Good to see they're going to teach him something about the planet and he seems to have found a friend. I think the cave will play a part in further episodes and look forward to the next.
  • A Thousand Tears on Aug. 25, 2015

  • Dra'Tribek Five: Or, How to Destroy a Planet From Within. on Aug. 25, 2015

This is my kind of sci-fi and I hope MacMcDonald extends this flash story and gives me a full length novel to read, Wonderful.
  • The Best Of Christmas Presents on Aug. 25, 2015

Good little read and nicely written. Interesting to see how things happen in Australia with its remote areas.
  • Diary From The Missing Plane on Aug. 25, 2015

Easy to follow and understand. Great piece of fiction which I enjoyed reading.

Mr Fitzbacon, maybe it's your American attitude to reading but I found this book by Shrimant a pleasure to read. You must know a lot of mature 12 year olds. I AM a real person and I enjoyed this read. I am not 12 years old and I'm well educated.
  • Grave Misgivings on Aug. 29, 2015

Great characters throughout each story. Some stories are weird while others are pure horror but every one of these dark tales was most enjoyable.
