Smashwords Interview

What motivated you to become an indie author?
I wrote my first book, and started writing the second one, but the characters kept echoing in my head, nagging me with the worry that the first story wasn't complete until others could experience it. I was motivated to become an indie author so that the voices in my head would be quiet and let me write! (I'm not crazy, I swear)
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Without Smashwords, I would not have been able to publish this book, which in turn would mean I would be unable to have closure and continue writing the next stories.
