I hadn't read a thriller/suspense novel is quite some time, so I was looking forward to this novel. The characters were engaging and the story really kept me guessing--when you get to the heart of the story, the pace picks up even more. Despite having a three month old on my hands, I made time to keep reading and thought about the story long after I put the book down.
I'm not much of one for science fiction, but Tardif did a great job of keeping me interested and engaged in a way that I "needed" to know what happened next. This was the first book I've read by Tardif, and I'm anxious to read some more of her work.
