Biography

Colette Ellis is an author, coach and transformational speaker on mindfulness, motivation, and workplace stress. Her book, "Focus on Your Vision," helps readers clarify priorities and optimize their work-life balance. She also is contributing author to "Transform Your Life With One Call: America's Top Life Coaches Reveal What You Need to Know" in which she shares the benefits of executive coaching and debunks common coaching myths.

As founder of InStep Consulting, she guides entrepreneurs and executives to transform their lives and realize results faster through insightful coaching and interactive seminars on employee wellness, leadership development, and team building.

With over 15 years experience helping leaders deal with organizational change, Colette has become a highly sought after consultant and trainer in the global business environment. She has traveled the globe, facilitating personal growth and professional training for leaders from countries including Australia, Botswana, Bulgaria, Chile, Lithuania, Mexico, Poland, and Vietnam.

Colette holds a BA in English from Dartmouth College (cum laude), and an MPA in Public Finance from New York University, where she was a Dean’s Scholar. She is certified in 7 Habits of Highly Effective People®, FOCUS: Achieving Your Highest Priorities, and Coping with Work & Family Stress™.
