Michael J. Cook


Michael is a profesional engineer but also with a trade background. Most of his work has been on remote mining sites - Gold mining, Iron ore and nickel mining, also on a diamond mine in North Western Australia. Later in life he spent ten years as a comercial beekeeper running over 200 beehives.

Mike and his wife have travelled by ship and air - Australia, New Zealand, New Caladonia, and of course throughout SE Asia. He has lived and worked in Bangkok, Thailand. Does not do much exercise but lots of walking and hard work. Loves tapping out stories of travel and work experience on the computer.
