I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This was my first time reading anything from Ava Bradley. In general it was a good story, too many details at times it wasn’t necessary and not enough at others when I wanted to know more. It took the plot of “28 Days Later” and added vampires. Ava Bradley was able to incorporate some of the complexities of human nature… Do you kill your friend that has been infected and is now a zombie or do you let them go in hopes that one day there is a cure, but could still kill you during the wait? I was a little disappointed at the end that every loose end was just magically all worked out and okay in the last chapter. It was a quick easy read and wouldn’t mind reading some of Ava Bradley’s other work.
