Derrick Devon Griffin, his born name was essentially birthed and raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL in 1981.Derrick found his passion for writing while attending Broward Community College back in 2003. Soon afterwards he would come to write and self publish his first title which was a slew of short fiction stories. Although they themselves were never published, he knew then that he had a world of talent and was ultimately on to something huge. He chose to master his craft more and so went on to devise a plethora of newbies. His first publication is Street Cred which was a long awaited debut for the world wide readers. He has attending various reading and writing literary arts groups in which to hone his creative desire and skillset even further. Soon to follow his debut book titled "Street Cred" will be overshadowed by a slew of other titles which are soon to come thereafter. Those follow up titles are a completely different aspect to his first piece of work. His readers should be very pleased to see the growth, maturity, and creativeness within the titles that come afterwards. He is also planning to comprise a few short screenplays that are already in the making. Follow him to remain in the loop of what he has going on within his ever evolving writing career.
